Genji: Days of the Blade
Genji: Days of the Blade by SCEE (Sony's in house Game Publisher) will follow squarely in the footsteps of its PlayStation 2 predecessor. you'll again take part in a number of battles loosely based on mythical Japanese history, set against ethereal environments that will hopefully serve as a capable showcase for the new console's graphical power.
So is this just another fighting game or does it have some special features?

Genji's big selling point is that it is not just about fighting battles in static arenas. It is all part of an adventure game in which you roam.
You will be able to fight using different characters which are switchable in game using the directional pad. The characters all have different strengths and weaknesses. It will up to you to choose the correct character with which to defeat your opponents. The characters include the samurai warrior Yoshitsune, giant monk Benkei and Shizuka, a female warrior armed with a razor-sharp hoop that she wields like a deadly yo-yo and can also use as a grapple to pull enemies toward her or to access areas that her colleagues can't reach.
The game's controls are easy to pick up; there is a jump button and three different attacks, and while the left stick is used to control movement, the right stick can be used to evade in any direction.
During the game you are set certain tasks such as clearing a battlefield of a given amount of enemmies within a certain time.
