Virtua Tennis 3
Known as Power Smash 3 in Japan, this is the third in the series and offers improved gameplay and graphics which will reaffirm its position as the best tennis game and one the best sports games of all.
The graphical quality is superb with lifelike and detailed recreations of the stars as well as ballboys and judge. Even the dynamics of the players' swings are correct.

As with previous versions it is easy to just pick up and play immediately. The left thumb stick controls the players' movement around the tennis court and three of the buttons will decide what sort of shot you hit.
After an initial easy induction into the game you can expect it to get progressively harder as the game progresses. At some point you will need to have a greater grasp of button strategy to make the wins.
What this game does well and is the secret of its success is that its more arcadey and less simulation. This makes it fun to play at all times.
