Official Europe release date: SONY has announced that the launch date for Europe and Australia will be March 23rd 2007 selling for 599Euros.

Sony has launched two different systems; one with a 20GB hard drive and one with 60GB. You can read about the differences in our FAQ section.
Launch dates are staggered around the globe:
Japan: Launched November 11th 2006. 20GB version priced at Yen 47600 (approx. $410, Euro 320). 60GB version priced by the retailers!
USA: Launched November 17th. 20GB is $499 and the 60GB is $599.
Europe & Australia: 23rd March 2007 - 60GB ONLY prices at Euros599 (or equivalent)
